This beautiful Silver Age Marvel comic book displays absolutely wonderfully! A beautiful book to be certain, approximate condition is a Fine++, maybe even better, but please be advised that this issue was “manufactured without a top staple”, it was literally never placed into the top half of the book and thus it shipped out to the newsstand booth for sale, with this inherent error
The “always missing top staple” is both clearly a manufacturing error and clearly can be nothing but a manfucturer’s error, because there are no staple holes anywhere on the top half of the book, none at all. No holes in the top-half of both front & back cover, nor are there top-staple holes in any of the interior pages, as seen in all of the detailed photos.
Manufacturer errors such as these won’t affect the grade/condition of any comic, or this comic specifically. This condition/grading uideline is clearly written in the “overstreet’s guide to grading” and also throughout most of CGC’s grading/slabbing guidelines & FYIs.
